Our master chefs use their great skill and attention to detail to prepare daily breakfast and dinner buffet tables, as well as designing outstanding themed dinners such as the fishermen’s party or Istrian dinners featuring traditional regional dishes.

We heartily recommend a tasting of Istria’s delicacies: Istrian prosciutto, extra virgin olive oil, seafood and luxurious wines.

Before you enter an Istrian taverna, you should know how things go: first you order an aperitif, followed by cheese, prosciutto, and Istrian supa. In springtime, a frittata with asparagus is a must. If you prefer seafood, you’ll be offered a wealth of fish, crustaceans and shellfish. The influence of continental cuisine is apparent in dishes like fuži pasta with truffles, žgvacet (chicken goulash), pork loin, and Istrian sausages… To wrap up, treat yourself to kroštule (sweet knots) and fritule (fritters).
